Hello there. Welcome to my home page. If you already know me, you might want to skip the text below and scroll down to check out my blog feeds. If you are just looking around, do head over to my guest book and let me know what you think about the site. Your feedback is important to me.

About Me

I can describe my self as a finance professional with keen interest in technology, web development, social media, blogging  and writing. I also like to follow technology news and developments in the computer hardware and gadgets market. I used to be an avid PC gamer. Unfortunately never got addicted to gaming consoles like x-box, Playstation, Wii, nitendo, gameboy etc :). Reading bug bit me very late. I can’t call my self an avid reader but I have read a couple of books and also written reviews of the same in my web diary (scroll down to view my diary feed and visit it).

I also write a tech blog where I have written a number of code snippets to improve/add functionality to Blogger blogs. However recently I have shifted my focus to wordpress after being thoroughly fascinated by it’s flexibility and features (especially when one is self-hosting).

My other areas of interests hover around economics, religion, politics, international affairs and relations, wars, anthropology, history, mythology, and music. While the list may seem amazingly long, I actually know just a little about these fields. I simply like to keenly follow any new developments in these disciplines while gauging their impact on our lives.

My Qualifications

I have done my Bachelors in Business Management Honors from Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India (Hyderabad) and my Masters in Business Administration from SP Jain Center of Management (Singapore, Dubai).

I have done a couple of other things which you can check out in my resume.

Gyan about me

I think my greatest asset is the way I have conditioned my self to be a learner. I strive to listen to other people carefully and always make sure that I learn some thing from every person I interact with. Most of what I know, I have learnt by listening to other people. Listening (rather than reading) has been the best mode of learning for me.

On the basis of some serious self assessment I have concluded that I am actually very close to being an introvert as I take significant time to mix up (or network as it is generally referred to). I have tired to work on it but have not been very successful at it. Any suggestions eh?

Thanks for visiting my site. Cheers!
